Installing on Windows

Three steps, and what to do when Windows asks whether it should trust a new program.

  1. Download STYYR Automation Setup.exe and open it.
  2. The app installs for your user in a few seconds and starts.
  3. Sign in with the invitation your manager sent you.

"Windows protected your PC"

Windows may show a blue screen with this title the first time you run the installer. This is Microsoft SmartScreen. It appears for any new program that has not yet been downloaded by many people, not because anything is wrong with the file. STYYR Automation is a young product, so it has not earned that reputation yet.

To continue: click More info, then Run anyway. You only see this once. Updates install silently in the background and never show it.

If your IT department manages your laptop, send them this page and the file's SHA-256 checksum below so they can verify the download themselves.

Updates

The app checks for updates when it starts and installs them when you close it. You can also check from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
